John Lindahl is a Technical Professional in the Deposition Science and Technology Group at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has over 6 years of research experience in discontinuous fiber composites, small, medium and large-scale systems development, novel thermoset materials and additive manufacturing of thermoplastics and thermosets. Notable accomplishments include being a member of the polymer team responsible for the first 100% digitally manufactured tool to successfully withstand industrial autoclave conditions and being an instrumental part of additively manufacturing the largest solid 3D printed structure which earned a Guinness World Record. John also works closely with local and regional industry partners and has helped develop large-scale printers and associated materials which are now commercially available.
